I. For those who graduated from high school in 2018 and earlier:
1. Satisfy the following conditions simultaneously:
a) Participate and pass the National High School Exam with independent tests: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and an appropriate combination test. It is not acceptable to use a Foreign Language Certificate to replace a Foreign Language test
b) At the National High School Exam, you must achieve a minimum total score of 36, of which no subject has less than 4 points and at least four subjects have no less than 6 points.
c) Admission to the Regular University Training System at a Vietnamese University,
>>> then you can participate in the University Foundation program in the same Industry group.
2. If you meet the conditions in section 1 and successfully study four additional semesters of regular university, you can:
a) transfer directly into the first year of a University in the same industry group, or
b) transfer to University Foundation and not be limited to Industry groups.
3. If you graduate from College, you can be transferred to University Preparation in the same industry group.
4. If you graduate from College and successfully transfer to University (Fifth semester), you can transfer directly to the first year of a University in the same industry group.
5. If you meet the conditions in section 1 and have a DSD I or DSD II Certificate and confirmation from the DSD Coordinator, you can be transferred to University Foundation and not be limited to Industry groups.
II. For people graduating from high school from 2019 onwards (until there is a new policy)
- Participate in the exam with three independent subjects and three subjects in an appropriate elective combination
- The total score of the above six subjects is ≥ 36 points
- None of the above mentioned subjects < 4 points
- Have at least 4 subjects listed above with ≥ 6 points
In addition, students may have to take additional tests and learn additional knowledge before participating in the training program.
